Before you touch anything

Non-negotiable safety rules

These guardrails apply across every playbook in the library.

Interlock & control first

For INTERLOCK service, follow the bypass procedure. For CONTROL, put the controller in MANUAL before you start.

Never overtighten

Tighten leaking or loose fittings only as required — overtightening makes leaks worse. Confirm no-leak with snoop.

Mind the seal pot

Do not flush an impulse line that has a seal pot (filled line). Record product condition (e.g. slurry) when draining.

CAL MODE discipline

Only place non-interlock transmitters in CAL MODE. Always normalise the system and release CAL MODE afterwards.

Rule out the process

Compare against PG/LG/SG or a nearby transmitter. If they agree, the deviation is process-driven — resolve that first.

Document & escalate

Record all findings on the checksheet. If the problem persists, escalate to the SME with your evidence.
